A more subtle point about this is the fact that it was an advisory firm sending you the NDA. MUCH more prevalent in Europe than in U.S. and I still can’t understand why entrepreneurs feel they need a banker to lead a series A round. They are the story, they are what we are backing and I certainly don’t believe the investor $ should be going to a “advisor” for the process.
